A QR-Tag is a simple brass or wooden disc which has a 2D barcode etched into it via a laser cutter. If a user simply scans the tag with their smartphone camera they will be linked to a webpage, an online note or even a live document.
In a Post-CoVid19 world it will be more important than ever that we adopt technologies which are contactless and provide the opportunity for people to access products, services and information as quickly and easily as possible. As well as linking to static information QR-Tags can also be used to link to order and pay at table systems for cafes and restaurants.
On purchasong a QR-Tag, the first time it is scanned the user will be prompted to take ownership of the tag and add it to their administration account. Once registered to an account the owner can then specify the link which will be available when subsequent users scan the button. Examples of use are restaurant menus, visitor books and editable notes.
